Research Scientist – Shellfish and fish physiology, bioenergetics and health

Role at Cawthron

Working with a range of academic and industry collaborators, Zoë brings her experience in ecological physiology, biochemistry and evolutionary biology to support integrative research on fish and shellfish selective breeding, bioenergetics and efficiency, and improving shellfish health by reducing disease and increasing resilience.  She is on the leadership team of the Shellfish Aquaculture Research Platform (ShARP) and has a strong interest in supporting shellfish aquaculture and sustainable food production systems.
