Role at Cawthron
Natalie works for the Foundation to fundraise donation, bequest and grant income to support science through the Cawthron Foundation. She is passionate about growing the Foundation so that it can fund more scholarships and independent research to support the sustainable management of New Zealand's freshwater, coastal and natural resources.
On a day-to-day basis Natalie looks after our contact database. She communicates with the Friends of Cawthron, organises events for Friends, donors and other interested members of the public, and applies for external grant funding.
Technical skills, experience and interests
Natalie has over seven years’ experience in not-for-profit organisations. Prior to coming to Cawthron Natalie was working as a management and fundraising consultant supporting and advising community organisations in Nelson. Natalie will complete a Graduate Diploma in Not-For-Profit Management through Unitec NZ in 2017.
